a little solo project for Local Game Jam 2026 w/ RVA game jams!
i wanted to make a live visualizer that can take audio device input, so we can use it for livestreams and in-person events. 

i wasn't able to get too complex in 48 hours, but  i was able to:
-write all the shaders (referenced tutorials by MinionsArt),
-make model transform and other components react to audio input using Lasp
-design, model, rig + animate the character
-add a layer setup to control the head and body separately for more dancing possibilities
-add placeholder camera movement

i learned a lot so i'm pretty happy with the outcome of this jam! i'm excited to make the best retro smoothie cat dance party visualizer the world has ever seen

Note: if nothing is happening on-screen, plug in a microphone and talk into it. this is really intended to be used live or hooked up to other software so it might be finnicky
